John Wilson Retired Arborist

John moved to New Tecumseth in 2019 and is an active member of a local environmental organization called Greys for Green, a current Director of a Canadian charity called the Canadian TREE Fund, and a volunteer with the Aurora Community Arboretum.

He is a Forestry Technology graduate of Lakehead University and a Horticulture graduate from the University of Guelph. He is also a retired ISA Certified Arborist, with a 30+ year career working with Campus Services and Business Operations at York University. He is a passionate gardener, golfer, cyclist, and tireless tree advocate!
