Times offered are noted below. Other times may be scheduled based on staff availability. Please inquire at your local branch if you cannot meet at the regularly scheduled times noted here.

Memorial Branch: Monday afternoons: 3-5 pm
Pam Kirkpatrick Branch: Tuesday & Thursday afternoons: 2-3 pm
D.A. Jones Branch: Thursday afternoons: 4-5 pm

Getting started with our eBooks & Audiobooks is fairly simple. Visit the site (formerly PULSE) and spend some time familiarizing yourself with it. To get started, visit the Help page and discover what software applications you need to use with your computer or personal device. The Help section offers everything you need to know to get started.

Need a little further assistance? Download the appropriate training guide:

Please note that the PULSE website was updated at the start of November, 2016 and became the site. All of our guides have been rewritten to reflect these changes.

After reading the appropriate guide(s), if you are still not quite sure how works, that’s okay. We do offer introductory (lecture-format) seminars in which we cover the basics of setting up your device, how to search, borrow, download, transfer and return your eBooks and Audiobooks. Simply call your local branch and request to register for the next available eMedia Seminar (see information above). Once you have completed the seminar, limited further assistance will be available if required.
