Beanstack Reading Tracker & Challenges
Welcome to reading challenges through Beanstack! This easy-to-use tool lets you track your reading and reach your reading goals, write and share book reviews, and join reading challenges where you can earn virtual badges and real prizes!
You can manage your whole family’s reading from a single account. You can also download the Beanstack Tracker mobile app and make book reporting even easier!
Getting Started on a Computer
- Visit NTPL’s Beanstack site (link below).
- Scroll down to and click “Register and Individual or Family”. If you are registering your family or household, create one account for the group and then add multiple readers.
- Use Beanstack every day to log your reading, earn badges, share reviews, and participate in special challenges! (Different reading challenges may be available based on the reader’s age). There will also be the opportunity to win prizes!
GETTING STARTED WITH THE APP
- Visit your app store to download the Beanstack Tracker mobile app (for iOS or Android) – links below.
- Select “School, Library or Bookstore” as organization type, then search for New Tecumseth Public Library.
- If you are registering your family or household, create one account for the group and then add multiple readers.
- Use Beanstack every day to log your reading, earn badges, share reviews, and participate in special challenges! (Different reading challenges may be available based on the reader’s age). There will also be the opportunity to win prizes!
No Library card? No problem! Apply for a free Library eCard, then start browsing and downloading from our eCollection!

1,000 Books Before Kindergarden
Welcome to 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten (1BBK), a free literacy program for newborns, babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. The goal? Read 1000 books with your little one before they start Kindergarten. 1BBK can help develop a love of reading, provides you with opportunities to bond, and helps your child develop the early literacy skills they need for success later in life.
