September 19 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
FreeJoin Colleen Moreau, an Indigenous facilitator with over 20 years of experience, for a special outdoor program recognizing National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Through stories, rock painting, the Seven Grandfather Teachings, eagle feather discussions, and a smudging ceremony, children and families will have the opportunity to learn about Indigenous perspectives, culture, and traditions.
Registration is required for all children.
Held in the Indigenous Medicine Garden. Please dress for the weather; in the event of inclement weather, the program will be moved indoors.
Ideal for ages 3-13 years old.
