Cozy Critters Sewing Creations
Youth ages 10+
10:00-11:30 am
Tuesday, March 11
Pam Kirkpatrick Branch, Tottenham
Sew a special snuggle hammock for Procyon’s ferrets & baby squirrels. You will receive step-by-step instructions to sew a cozy, safe, and playful space for the little animal to relax, sleep and recover. Perfect for animal lovers. Registrants MUST have experience with a sewing machine. Spaces are limited.
All hammocks will be donated to the Procyon Wildlife Centre.
High School Students will receive community service hours.
Tee-rrific Dog Toys!
Youth ages 12+
1:00-2:00 pm
Wednesday, March 12
Memorial Branch, Alliston
This is a hands-on program that shows you how to turn old, unused t-shirts into fun, eco-friendly dog toys! You will be braiding and knotting to create a one-of-a-kind dog toy to donate to a furry friend at our local Humane Society. (Bring your old t-shirts!)
The Human Society will be dropping by with an adoptable furry friend to test out the new toys!
High School Students will receive community service hours.
Space is limited to first 20 to arrive.
